Are you interested in starting a new hobby or maybe you’re ready to take your Surfing skills to the next level? Well look no further! Lessons available for complete beginners up to intermediate & advanced sessions, just note your level when booking.
Based in Porthtowan, home to one of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall with a host of shops, facilities and eating options close by. Our favourite is The Unicorn On The Beach, known for its great seafood, staff and fantastic location within the town.

Ever tried Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP)? We offer lessons & SUP adventure/tours all over Cornwall. Explore the hidden coves, estuaries & creeks the South West has to offer, with you very own experienced guide. Suitable for beginners & improvers.

THE - SURF - CLUB
For all you Cornish sea dogs looking for a post work cool down, come and join our Sunday Surf Club or Wednesday evening Sunset Surfs. These sessions are super relaxed and bring like-minded people together with the common interest of Surfing.
What to expect? Tailored Surf coaching to suit your level & ability, safeguarding in the water for peace of mind, Surfing tips and guidance, sunset surfs (SUMMERTIME ONLY) and the occasional post surf BBQ. From £15
Best Surf Lesson We’ve Ever Had!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We try to come surfing every year but after a 2 year break we both needed a lesson! Elena was fantastic, she was by far the best instructor we have ever had, she was so patient, enthusiastic and genuine. When we hired boards out ourselves a couple of days later, we had both made such amazing improvements thanks to Elena. Their location on Porthtowan beach is perfect and again, made the experience the best we’ve had.
I couldn’t recommend them highly enough, whether it’s your first time surfing or you’ve done it before but need a refresher, Elena and Ben are so friendly and knowledgeable and all their lessons are excellent value!

Don’t want to leave? Stay at The Unicorn’s Surf House Accommodation!
Comfortably sleeping up to 12 people at a time, this rough and ready surf dorm style accommodation is a stones throw from the beach & a 30 second walk to the Bar & Surf School, literally* This accommodation is clean and comes with self catering facilities. Toilets and hot showers are a unisex layout meaning the accommodation is best suited for families or friends sharing. Board and wetsuit storage is available as well as a private open plan yet inclosed living space, a great spot to be based if you’re planning an action packed week of surf & sun. This Accommodation comprises of a Bunk room that Sleeps 6 & two double/triple rooms which can be reconfigured to suit your requirements.

Nothing beats an adventure Experience day! suitable for Private Events, Large Groups/Parties and Corporate Retreats.
Packages can range from simple surf/sup days with or without accommodation, lunch or dinner, too full blown all inclusive packages where you will/could be travelling by SUP or boat to one of the many hidden beaches in Cornwall. We can organise Catering from a packed lunch/dinner to a Chef On The Beach event, Moon lite Paddle Boarding, Power boating / Wakeboarding, Stargazing on the beach warmed by a fire, chilled with a cold beverage.
